Can you believe that the World Series actually started one month ago? The first pitch was thrown out on a cold, blustery night in October. It was Saturday, the 21st, to be exact. Who would have known then that we were only a few days from the end of the season and the Tigers would only play two World Series games at home. I remember people saying it would be nice if we didn't sweep the Cardinals so we could celebrate the World Series title at home. Wishful thinking, as it turned out.
