If you have chosen to become a teacher because of June, July, and August and not because you want to make a difference for kids, you should change careers right now.
June, July, and August actually end up being busy months for teachers: they’re taking classes, working on lessons, working in their classrooms, developing curriculum.
There is so much to do during the summer.
BS (cough), BS (cough), BS (cough)! Still the best benefit to teaching is the chance to re-energize in the summer. Don't get me wrong, they have earned it with the stress the deal during the school year.
